Cake Smash & Birthdays

Cake smashes are the most fun sessions! They are typically shot around your baby’s first birthday, however these sessions can be used to mark a second, or third birthday, or simply just because they are so much fun!

 

Your baby is presented with a beautiful bespoke cake, and is free to eat, play, smash and generally cause as much chaos and mess and they would like!

 

The results are beautiful, playful and cheeky images that you can treasure to celebrate your baby reaching that special milestone of their first birthday!

 

Prior to bringing out the cake, I also offer the opportunity of a portrait studio session. This allows the opportunity to capture timeless photographs of your little one, whilst they are still clean, and before all the mess begins!

 

I will provide the cake for your session free of charge. The cakes are custom handmade for you from a superb local cake baker. You can choose the colour, or any specific ideas or designs that you would like prior to your session. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring along our own cake to use.

Prior to your session we will discuss any colours, styles or themes too that you may like for your set up. I love being creative and trying out new ideas!

With all sessions, there is also the option to have additional photos or prints added to your package.
